Buildings of creamy stone, with ironwood shingle roofs and rich dark timber accents, provide luxurious living and sleeping areas for up to 14 people. An enchanting bamboo pavilion set in water gardens grants unobstructed views and creates an atmospheric setting for casual breakfasts, sunset cocktails and candlelit dinners. Tropical gardens filled with frangipani, cala lilies and heliconia add swathes of colour, while lively fish ponds complement the tropical scenery.
For golf enthusiasts, Mandalay Villa lower gardens offer a bale place amongst the six-tee ‘pitch and putt’ golf course and the villa’s proximity to the multi-award-winning Nirwana Bali Golf Course, which hugs the rocky coastline, offering stunning views over the venerated sea temple of Tanah Lot, as well as a spa and sauna facility overlooking lotus pond. “We’ve heard a lot of great stuff about Pantai Lima Estate so we decided to book Sound of the Sea since it was just newly renovated. Upon arrival, the staff were already very welcoming and nice. We were well taken care of and the food prepared was also so good! The villa was very relaxing, it was so spacious and the it felt so clean and new. We heard it was just newly renovated so that was a big plus for us especially since my parents are a bit picky. You can also easily access the beach or just lounge in the pavilion and listen to the waves. Definitely had a great time with my family and hope we can come back soon!”
